![]() ![]() However, you need to risk it so that you can potentially get into a position to stop the enemy team taking an objective or keeping the enemy team pinned down and suppressed while your team claims a flag. Running around corners into alleyways or building corridors is genuinely terrifying as your demise could be right around the next bend. Finding a class which suits your play style is essential so that you can benefit the team and help secure a win. Snipers, riflemen, heavy machine gunners plus other classes all make up the team composition and are needed to ensure the success of your team. ![]() You can choose to take the lead of your team, calling in additional support by using the radio attached to one of your soldiers who should always be in close proximity. The developers have also made sure that balance is a key priority and have done this by making sure their ranking system does not provide any unfair advantages. Making a team with a balance of classes is essential in surviving and winning matches.įeaturing ten maps and over 70 authentic World War two weapons and attachments, the developers have spent a long time trying to bring the best experience possible. The classes all come equipped with different load outs and are best suited to different situations. Does Day of Infamy build on the success of the developer or does it fizzle out like a dud grenade?ĭay of Infamy is a game which focuses on World War 2 with its online multiplayer matches set in a multitude of different locations and featuring a wide range of different character classes. As I said on other post, I wish someday NWI would do to insurgency AI what they did to bots on DoI.A game made by the experienced developers of the game Insurgency, a strategic, authentic and genuinely terrifying yet satisfying World War 2 game. Bots on that game often take cover, snipers shoot from afar and MGs are quite deadly. If you want a more interesting solo mode I'd recommend trying out Day of Infamy by NWI, which is a completely different game (ww2 shooter) and mechanics but solo is quite enjoyable if that's what you're after. I believe the ones that follow you are the "squad" you're on(notice that on MP there are two squads and on solo coop there is only one), I had best results trying to keep that in mind and try avoid commanding my squad through open areas (It would be awesome if bots could at least follow commands like hold ground) ![]() I noticed that usually on this game a handful of bots will follow the player and others will free roam. Which bot difficulty are you playing with? Yesterday I switched to ins_bot_difficulty 2 on solo and noticed a good boost on difficulty but also on teammates effectivity. Is there any way to make them act like regular INS bots all the time, or at least improve their aim? What's even weirder is that on rare occasions, sometimes the extra bots that don't follow me will actually start moving on their own and acting like regular INS bots, while the ones already following me still act dumb. They can't seem to throw grenades and they don't seem to follow any commands, so generally they're about as useful as dirt.Īdding more bots doesn't seem to increase their overall effectiveness in any meaningful way, and after a certain threshold newly added bots stop following me and just stand there aimlessly in spawn. Their AI seems to consist of them just mindlessly following you until they spot an enemy, upon which they stand completely still and fire at the enemy without even trying to aim down sights. ![]() I've noticed that the AI teammates that you get are glaringly stupid. My game likes to lag out at times and recently my internet's been crap and I've been having some trouble connecting to Insurgency games, so I've been playing Solo Co-op.
